I thought the kodokan flower tattoo was actually tattooing around what looked to be scarring from a mole removal. I have a mole on my left wrist that I plan to get removed and I know a few other women who have the same issue (mole on wrist area).

I can see how the tattoo idea sounds great in theory (octagon and judo, flower and cage) and they were probably supposed to be small and elegant...

But it looks horrible. Way too thin, so even though up close it has good detail, it just looks like a crappy thin circle from a normal distance. Bad placement, and I can't think of two places to put two circles that would look any good...
