Ronda Rousey failed hard in WWE

It depends? What were her goals in the WWE?
 
She's working the fans to be a top heel when she returns.

Brock plays the marks in a similar fashion, acts like he gives Zero Fucks about pro-wrestling, the fans eat it up and hope to see him lose yet many of his pro-wrestling peers have nothing but praise for him for being so devoted to his character.

She was. Her promo work wasn't the greatest, but in the ring she was pretty damn solid, all things considered. It all came pretty naturally for her.

Steph was always pretty good, and always had entertaining matches. Say what you will about the McMahons, but they put their money where their mouth is. They'll get in there and bust their asses in a match, an 9 times out of 10 it's one of the best matches on the card.

I think for the most part what she was doing. Part time. Come in and out, and wrestle in a lot of the big events. But she can’t handle criticism. She can’t handle negativity. She’s a total diva that wants her ass kissed all the time. She’s a train wreck.

Wrestling is strange in that it's essentially an acting job, but a lot of fans seem to appreciate the effort and the grind that other wrestlers put in, so someone like Ronda or Charlotte Flair coming in and getting everything handed to her, would cause the fans to cheer for someone who has been doing it for years and didn't have particularly favourable booking (like Becky Lynch).

Ronda did a great job, as does Charlotte, but creative need to be more on the pulse about how fans think.

Same thing with Roman Reigns run just after The Shield. Aside from being given really, really shitty scripts, he wasn't terrible, but the fans really got behind Daniel Bryan, a more authentic wrestler who had been through the grind for years and was trying to break that glass ceiling.
 
She had already decided to leave wrestling to have a baby. She's just making an excuse to rant.
 
Man, she's a multimillionaire thanks to those fans hating on her, she should play along.

Or maybe she's playing along, and I'm getting fooled.

She was a huge star in both MMA and wrestling. She was pushed as this inspiring, "once in forever", heroine figure but the real entitled, unpleasant, petty Ronda always showed through. Who else gets to start off with the sort of push Ronda did? She ruined it herself.

If anything, she's the ungrateful one. Despite her shitty attitude she had tons of loyal fans. Also MMA and wrestling changed her bum life. Where's her gratitude?
