Romero took this, 2 10-8s

I don't think Romero dominated him in round 5. I think Romero caught Whitaker and did nothing with it. He might have even been outstruck in that round by a guy with 1 hand.

lol, what the fuck? You think Whittaker "might have" outstruck Romero in the 5th round?

3rd wasn’t a 10-8

Neither was the 5th. Robert spent half the round recovering in the clinch, then the ref separated them for inactivity. I don't see how that can be a 10-8 round.

Romero did nothing aside from catch Whitaker and then not do anything with it.

You didn't answer the question. Do you think Whittaker "might have" outstruck Romero in the 5th round? That's what you said; I want to confirm that you actually believe this to be true.

It's called hyperbole, ya Melvin.

R5 was a 10-8, but the only other round that would be near a 10-8 was R1. Romero stood practically still for 3 minutes and let Whittaker hit him, and then threw maybe 10 punches? Whittaker threw like 80. This fight was either a 47-47 or a 47-46 win for Whittaker.

I think it's just stupidity, but whatever.

How was the third 10-8?

Because he came close to stopping Whittaker and beat him around the cage for the majority of the round. Pretty straightforward 10-8 in my view.

Not remotely. There were wild exchanges with both guys getting tagged. Hardly a one sided beat down. Round 1 was more 1 sided in favor of Whittaker.
