Do you guys see Romero as champion even with his gas problems?
 
He had the flu during the Jacare fight and most of his ko's are in the third round.

Fighters have complained about his gas being a problem before?
 
I see him being a champ with the current ones chin problems.

Neither him or Jacare are championship material. They're good enough to be elite, but they're just a step below championship level. They don't have that extra "mmmmph" that guys like Chris and Luke have.
 
when he gases that's when he becomes the most dangerous because then he uses what's left of it to blitz his opponent into oblivion
 
he handles the first two round of all his fights with ease, and then slows down abit. it would suck for a 5 rounder, but he finished machida and kennedy in the 3rd when they fought and didnt need the extra rounds. out of all his 7 ufc fights he has finished 4 in the 3rd, 1 in the 1st and one went to decision.

i think romero could finish the whole middle weight roster, so he is getting that strap. just depends when the ufc wants to give him a shot.

and he should be next in line.

You're aware that Michael Bisping just beat Rockhold for the title tho? Anything can happen.

Having said that, if Romero did win the title, I doubt he'd hold it long. I dont think anyone holds that belt for long at MW right now.

There's still a ton of shertards who will claim that "Romero's only dangerous in the first round" and that guys like Weidman and Rockhold will "kill him if they survive the first few minutes" lol.
 
At the age of 39, Yoel still the scariest dude at MW right now. He beat his worst match-up in the division (Jacare) albeit it being a close fight that could have gone either way.

Also people love to hate on the dudes gas tank..

guy holds 4 wins via 3rd round KO in the UFC, 2 of which were over top 5s at the time. Gassed or not romero doesnt give a fuck if he hurts you even if hes ready to faint, he gets the 1 minute turbo boost which is enough to clean things up
