Seems like he knows he was biased, and it was an honest mistake ...and maybe he got caught up in the moment.

I say give him the benefit of the doubt.

Not a shill IMO

Edit: seems like he gets easily carried away

Him apologizing and promising to do a better job next time.....

seems whipped.

Lol it’s what I said in just about every thread posters were throwing a tantrum in about him. He’s a Khabib fanboy, calm your tits people. He made good points

yeah, i could see the criticisms if khabib was eating counters or if Al had won those rounds... but Khabib probably could've

Too long didn’t read lol.... I did actually and Joe will forever be my favorite commentator. Anytime I see someone get dropped I can help but go “OOOOOOHH!!”

Bro, he was excessive in his criticism of Kebab and the effusive praise he was giving Al was undeserving to say the least.

Well he didn't have to apologize. But that's nice of him.

Yea it was ridiculous. I like Joe but he was going nuts about it. He did the same thing to Jones when he came back just not as aggressive.

He had to apologize because he knew he fucked up

I had to tune him out. I was turning around and asking the fellas if Rogan was watching the same fight we were

Don't know why so many ppl hate on Rogan. He seems to me a pretty decent guy, and yes, he mess up here and there but who doesn't?

Also, the fight was so one sided that he needed to hype up Iaquinta fighting back more.

Ehhh I wouldn't replace Joe Rogan for anyone in UFC commentary. Sure, he focused on that aspect of the fight. But the thing was, everyone already knew khabib was a badass and he was going to dominate. The more interesting angles of analysis is the unknown opponent and khabib's weakness. I don't think Rogan has anything to apologize for.

Why are people so quick to give Iaquinta so much credit for going the distance with Khabib... Khabib only had 1 days notice for the fight as well. Doesn't anyone think that maybe will a full camp training for Al Iaquinta that he most likely would of finished him or at least taken him down in the later rounds? No one can say what would of happened if both fighters came in better prepared for their opponents. Khabib was training for Ferguson, someone with a completely different build and skill set than Iaquinta. I don't agree with Rogan about it being an upset because Iaquinta made it the distance, sure I'll give him credit where its due, he took all Khabib had to offer and kept fighting, but it was still a dominant win in my eyes. Maybe these 'holes' in Khabibs game might not have been so clear if he had of trained for Al.

You can't say having 1 day notice of the fight was a disadvantage to Iaquinta when Khabib had the same disadvantage, plus all the drama of 4 different possible replacement opponents.

Now he has to issue an apology to Paul Harris for his "get outta there, Alan" comments.

Agree with the first paragraph, but there's no need to tell a fake narrative of a fight, regardless of the circumstances
