Yeah Ari is not funny I think they just enjoy talking with him or something but his stand up isnt funny I only laughed at his amazing racist clips like the one where he yelled La migra with the Day workers in his truck, he was best known for his amazing racist skits years ago that went viral in the early 2000s, and also flashing his penis on Joe Rogans grainy videos where Rogan used to film himself out side the comedy store or laugh factory just chilling after shows with other comedians.

I really don find anyone in Rogan's "death squad" or "hit squad" whatever he used to call it, that funny. I think it's the equivalent of a mildly attractive girl hanging out with fat girls to make herself look hotter.

i think it’s a case of he’s surrounding himself with mostly toadies. Probably not by design but they were kind of his standup peers but he had that sitcom, Fear Factor, and UFC commentating as well as being one of the only stand ups who can fight so he became the center of gravity for a lot of the not famous Comedy Store guys.

Pretty much. Redban used to edit videos for Joe and was more in a cohost role early on.

While Redban was important for the genesis of the show he was ultimately hurting it the most at the start and Rogan wisely kicked him off. Too often he would interject with really childish shit and wouldn't even be on topic. Jaime was brought in because he was a lot more tech savy in production and got a proper setup working which Brian couldn't do so that meant Brian had no need to be there.

I found Brian to be terrible early on in the cohost role but I really enjoy the podcasts where it's just him Rogan and Jamie just bullshitting now. While Redban is still a manchild he's a lot more tolerable now then a few years ago.

This thread is the first time I was aware anyone had an issue with Jamie but reading through the posts the hate is pretty minimal compared to Redban who actually ruined shows. Jamie's doesn't ruin the show, in fact he's the perfect blend for it because he's low key which is what I want from a engineer who is in the back looking shit up.

I feel like Jamie's job is really easy considering how predictable Joe is on any given podcast. His show is super repetitive so Jamie smells the "pull up that video where..." way ahead of time.

yeah Jamie rarely talks unless Rogan asks him something, I think a couple podcasts you barely hear a whimper from him so it amazes me that someone actually hates him when he is barely audible on the mic, I have difficulty hearing him I think he turns his mic off and just talks off to the side in the room so he doesnt get picked up

Maybe the OP knows him in real life and seen him before and hates him? its kinda strange to hate someone or dislike them when you barely know them or even hear them speak.
