I believe those are Sylvesters real parents. I saw one of those Biographies about Sylvester and Im pretty sure that his mom. They used a piss poor budget to do the first Rocky so Im pretty sure Sylvester decided to use his own famiy pictures since they wouldnt have to spend money on royalties for real people. All the other pictures are from Sylverster himself.

So since Sylvester decided to use his own parents photos and Rocky was created by Sylvester... objectively speaking yes this picture would be the absolute best reference we have within the Rocky universe as to who was his father... that dude is his father

So that really only leaves the mystery of his mother. Rocky seems like the type of guy that would still be close to his mom, so i think it's safe to say she's dead. Good Italian boys never go far from their mothers of they were alive.
