UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold will open as a massive betting favorite against late-replacement Michael Bisping for their scheduled title fight at UFC 199 on June 4 in Inglewood, California.

Rockhold is set to open as a -1,050 favorite. Bisping, who is stepping up on 17 days' notice, will open at +600.

The lines were set by Nick Kalikas of MMAOddsBreaker.com.

Rockhold (15-2) was originally supposed to defend his 185-pound title in a rematch against Chris Weidman, but the bout fell through this week after Weidman withdrew with a neck injury. Bisping (28-7), who is coming in on a three-fight win streak, will enter the first UFC title shot of his career.

UFC 199 will mark the second fight between the two. In the first meeting in November 2014, Rockhold hurt Bisping on the feet before finishing him via guillotine in the second round.

"The last time these two men fought, Luke Rockhold closed as a 5-to-1 betting favorite and he defeated Bisping convincingly," Kalikas said. "Most of the betting action was on Rockhold at the time. The stylistic matchup hasn't changed and now Bisping is on short notice.

"Rockhold should be able to have success on the feet and will have a huge advantage if the fight hits the canvas. I have a ton of respect for Bisping and he's on the best run of his career but Rockhold is untouchable right now."

Fighting out of American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose, Rockhold is 5-1 since joining the UFC. He took the belt from Weidman in December in a fourth-round TKO win. He is also a former Strikeforce champion. Bisping is coming off one of the most significant wins of his career, a decision victory against Anderson Silva in February.

Sounds right. 10 to 1 was what I said in my head. Bisping hasn't got a punchers chance or a submission threat to Luke. His best weapon which is cardio will be hampered by the short notice of the fight. Big uphill battle for him.

Lol what shit odds for a title fight. I don't even think +600 Bisping is enough.

Was thinking Luke would be around -1200 for this one.

First fight (which wasn't too long ago), was a lopsided beating, which ended in a humiliating ONE-ARMED guillotine:

I actually like Bisping WAY more than Luke and would shit myself with glee if he somehow pulled it off, but I really don't see any way for him to beat Rockhold.

So for shnitz and giggles, bet on Bisping. Would be a uge payday.

Bisping needs to take the diaz route and just drink and part on a yacht, cant hurt is chances

Vegas is basically saying, "we aren't taking bets on Rockhold, sorry".

Well Bisbing has zero chance in that fight. ZERO. The first fight was hard to watch you could see Bisbing was undersized and had way less strength. Now with even less time to prepare he does not have a chance in hell. He lack KO power and that is only thing he could win with.

Not zero, it's more like 0.01% chance. Rockhold could break his leg on a check by Bisping.

Ok, you're right, Bisping has no chance.

Fuk it betting on bisping just for financial reasons

thats how you get rich, got to roll the dice

He actually could break his leg on a... Oh right, Rockhold doesn't throw leg kicks.

Fuck. Bisping really doesn't have a chance. Sucks for him.

Don't put any money on Bisping guys, you will regret it and waste your money.

The only way i can see bisbing winning is if, right before the fight starts vitors does his spinnning hook kick on rockhold even than rockhold might recover in time and sub bisbing.

I was thinking Luke was going to be a bigger favorite than that, I was thinking Cyborg vs Leslie Smith type odds.

Bisping doesn't even have a "punchers" chance.

All he can do is hope for a freak injury to Rockhold during the fight. Rockhold will likely finish it in round 1, definitely going to land a big question mark kick again but probably finish him with strikes. Although it wouldn't be surprising if he finished him near identical to the first fight.

Exactly, this is one of the few fights where I literally think the other fighter has no chance.
