Got buried by Ping, Vitor and Yoel who were all well regarded names. Jan's name didn't have the same weight as those guys, so he gave us the legendary pre-fight, "I don't lose to guys like Jan" quip.

IMO less about chin with him and more about striking defense. when your striking defense is that bad, guys tee off on you at will and that chin is getting cracked no matter how good it is.

His chin wasn't the problem. His problem was that he thought he could just lean back to avoid every strike and not get hit.

That shit stopped working as soon a he fought anyone decent with hands. He never corrected it so it just kept happening.
