He had a bad gameplan and should've utilized his wrestling. Seeing a lot of people saying this.
The problem is he is not actually very good at forcing takedowns. His offensive wrestling is weak and he has never been able to rely on it.
Weidman gave up the takedown with his ridiculous spinning shit. Both Machida and Bisping were rocked and dropped. Branch initiated the clinch.
I can't actually recall an instance of him scoring a takedown that wasn't handed to him on a platter. While his ground n pound is brutal he is not this wrestling phenom that people are making him out to be. He is primarily a striker with good BJJ.
