it has to be on rockholds mind that if he found success he would face up with dc. What do you think? I think its possible stipe is dc’s last fight . If you think about how sensitive he was to fighting cain, now he’s moving up to hw? And rockhold to lhw?

I just dont see corm sticking around except
Maybe for another jones fight

In the likely event he can't get past Miocic at UFC 226, than yes, I would say retirement is by far the most likely outcome. I can't imagine, pushing 40, with an amateur wrestling and pro MMA career behind him and after the ungodly disaster of his rematch with Jones that he'd be willing to place himself through that a third time. Unless at the very least the strictest drug testing possible is done pre fight.

DC has said he's done the day he turns 40, which is happening March 20, 2019. He's got the Miocic fight and probably one after that, then he's done.

LOL @ it being a sign of something that DC has been explicitly stating since his last fight.

If he beats Stipe, he probably vacates LHW and defends the HW belt once (against Brock?).

If he loses to Stipe, and Gus beats Rockhold, I bet he comes back down to LHW and defends that belt against Gus.

Either way, I see two fights left for DC before retirement.

DC's already publicly stating he's definitely going to be retired by the first part of 2019. It isn't some secret.

This. He'll fight Miocic and then if he wins he'll probably wrap up with Brock or a trilogy with Jones.

dc will be 43 in the scenario of a rematch with jon jones. Not good odds that fight happens, and quite frankly I don't really care to see it.

I think "Corm" SAYING he's retiring by early 2019 is a better sign that "Corm" is retiring

TS doesn't know current already known events....

He's gone at 40 unless Bork needs a fight.

And DC might be a better match for Bork then Stipe

Me neither. Any possible interest I'd have to see it, with Cormier at that age, is basically negated by the risk that a repeat of Jones Cormier 2 happens and ruins it for all of us.

If he loses maybe.. if he wins he wants lesnar and will vacate 205

I think Luke is going to get destroyed.

DIdn't Cormier say this will be his last fight? Or did I make this up?

Corm is just getting started. He'll be in WWE fighting Brawk in no time.

so you think he will fight for the 205 belt? no threat anyway right now
also Cormier already said when he was retiring...before his next birthday

Looking forward to seeing Cuckhold getting even more salty at Light Heavyweight.
