Rockhold’s Comments on Middleweight Pecking Order Infuriate Weidman

Weidman Will forever be that guy that tried tio play the rules vs Mousasi to win by DQ... And in doing so, got his ass TKOed by the judges.

One of my favorite fights.
 
Weidman is deluded and would get twatted again by Rockhold.
 
Whineman needs to shut up. Luke would beat him to a pulp again.

How was Weidman winning against Romero? It was tied one round apiece and Weidman got KOed 20 seconds into the 3rd round

Weidman fans always claim he was winning that fight before the KO. The first two rounds were easy to score, it was 1- 1

Beating Kelvin was nice, but hardly puts him back to the top 10, let alone talks about title shots...

He should remember that Luke beat him.
He should remember that Yoel beat him.
He should remember that Whittaker beat Jacare and Yoel.

Rockhold didn't run through him, and we haven't seen him fight Yoel yet. Weidman fought Rockhold, Romero and Moose in a row, thats a ridiculous strength of schedule.

Kelvin is a more relevant win then Branch. Rockhold is 1 fight removed from a first round knockout loss.

Weidman lost 3 competitive fights where he won rounds. Getting put away summarily in the first round by Bisping is what you actually should mean by 'walked through'

Whittaker is the only one who has separated himself from the pack.
 
At least Luke's never been so desperate he purposely tried to win by bullshit DQ only to have it backfire on him then curse his way through a post-fight interview full of lies and deception.

Weidman separated himself in the opposite direction. The ping rockhard fight was a solid punch but at no point did it look like the better fighter winning the fight. There's a big difference.
 
Biggest weidman fan on this board but he is hard to defend here. He needs to fight and STHU.

You have to take these things in context.

Rockhold hasn't fought Romero yet. We don't know how that fight goes, but Romero likely beats every middleweight on planet earth on any day, save for one or two.

So we can't cast aspersions on Weidman for having a competitive third round loss to him.

Rockhold got knocked out by Bisping, who almost as a career rule, doesn't beat ranked fighters. So it is ridiculous at face value to say Weidman and Rockhold are on a different footing.

Whittaker has separated himself from the pack.
 
Never really rated Weidman as the champ. Sure he was undefeated, but his resume wasn’t exactly title shot worthy. He was just the guy Anderson hadn’t dispatched yet, and the Anderson he fought looked like he wanted to lose.

The only MW to separate themselves from the pack is Whittaker. That is it.

True, though Weidman did have a couple of losses in a row. He's still my boy,

I think Romero and Whittaker are above the pack and Rockhold is having a bit of a tug acting like he is at their level right now.
 
Has anyone mentioned that Chris Wiedman lost 3 fights yet? Because I don't think anyone here realizes that.
