A new one ?

Edit, nope it's the one from LA press we seen the other day. :(

its bullshit. They make they come here to talk about their fight but try to temper the tone of the discussion while interrumpting them

Yeah it was funny, Luke was stating that Chris jumping on Luke's back was a bitch move. That bitch at ESPN said no to the language. At that point one of them should have said, "Well I want to fight this fucking guy right now." Interview would have been cut short, but there would at least be some buzz. Fuck ESPN. I hate the fact that this network has access to the fighters when they only know the fighters from the tmz headlines. Robbie Lawler deserves more mainstream attention for his comeback story than any of the negative shit that runs the headlines.

So in closing, fuck ESPN and in case I forget especially fuck tmz.

Daaaaaamn Chris, back at it with the excuses.

This was like a scene from meet the parents.

"I really want to win this fight-"

"sir PLEASE calm down"

"I'm calm i'm just saying i've been training hard"

"omg sir do i need to call the cops right now?"

Both are so terrible at speaking well, I suppose it's probably from all that head bashing over their careers?

If Weidman loses this fight, he's going to need years of therapy...

There's so many cool, positive stories in mma right now but they only want to sell the dramatized bullshit like McGregor and Rockhold/Weidman bickering like school girls. Robbie and his resurgence is great example. Werdums road to the top of the HW division, Mighty Mouse dominant reign... there's so much more to the sport than the girly TMZ aspect. It's frustrating at times.

The anchor had clearly never heard of MMA before this segment and added to the awkwardness. Probably pissed she wasn't interviewing Lebron or some shit.

Exactly. Robbie Lawler just from a sporting story. How is he not talked about? And then the ncaa wrestling championships sell out Madison square garden. Iirc 19,000 plus. Not a mention on sports center. But Lebrun does something gay on Twitter and it's a level 5 crisis. Fuck ESPN.

lol when you think about it, I never saw UFC promote wedoom when he became champ
whereas when cain became champ he was promoted heavily as the baddest man on the planet

I don't know why they don't promote all their champions. Perhaps they feel it's a waste of marketing money to promote guys like MM, Cruz and non English speaking champions. They pushed cain a lot to appeal to the Mexican audience and to justify the man that just scraped Brock, their cash cow at the time. It's obvious when they get butthurt about one of their golden egg laying geese losing
