Rock Polish Willie

So I was watching Merab vs Sandhagen last weekend with my 8 year old son and he asked: "Why do they keep calling him Rock Polish Willie?"

I found it hilarious and told him I would post it on Sherdog to see if it would spread. He was very excited about the idea. I thought maybe we could start saying it around here, the same way we used to call Chuck Liddell "Chocolate Al" or Rousimar Palhares "Paul Harris".

Never heard the Chocolate Al one before but we also have John Pork as a contender

I've been here since 04, on the underground even longer and used to watch Chucm fight in IVC on VHS tapes.

I have never not once heard of Chuck Liddell referred to as "Chocolate Al," lol.

Was that just something you did in your head back then?

No it was a thing, but it was really not that many people doing it
