I lost a ton of respect for him after he defended Schumer for stealing jokes, yet he ragged on Mencia for years for it. I get that he's trying to defend his friend, but the guy prides himself on being 'real' and telling people how it is, yet he blatantly tried to make every excuse in the book for her.
I just got a really bad feeling from watching Redban throwing out the facts, and Joe just tried to say it was okay, because it's apparently unreasonable to know every joke there is - which is true, but a Google search could have prevented any coincidences.I listened to that podcast and I didn't get that impression. With Carlos he had first had experience with his stealing. He doesn't know for sure what happened with the Amy stuff, some of it could have been her writers handing her bits and jokes. I personally feel like she did steal some of it knowingly but I don't blame Joe for not immediately trashing her without any real knowledge.
yeah, now that his picks were a joke he gets out by saying "i was just trolling"
Thing is, she stole stand-up bits, almost word-for-word, as well as in her sketch show. It's certainly not a coincidence like Joe was saying.
okay, that was pretty funny lmao but all ill say is he does some good work. like another poster in this thread has stated once you get past his goofy presentation you can see he is pretty good at analyzing fighters and match ups. that pretty much sums up robin, hes a little goofy but hes pretty good at what he does and you can tell he enjoys. and who wouldnt? i think everyone who posts regularly in the heavies does like to think about and discuss all these match ups."You ain't shit. You just like your daddy. You don't do shit, and you never gonna amount to shit. All you do is eat, sleep, and shit."

He said it seemed sketchy, but I believe he passed all blame to her writers, and none to Amy, herself. The kicker was not only that a sketch was ripped-off, but also that the following segment was ripped-off, too. From the same originator, in the same original order.IIRC Joe did mention that some it seemed to sketchy to just be a coincidence. I believe because of how one joke segued into the next.

Who?
She used used two jokes back-to-back which were almost identical to the two jokes that Patrice O'Neal used back-to-back. Someone also mentioned (cannot remember where) that she use to open for Patrice and that they were friends. So by Schumer saying she never heard those jokes would have been BS considering she use to open for him.
