Just read that Roberto Soldic will announce his decision on the next career step next week Tuesday, Aug 02nd

Curious if he has signed for the UFC or will stay with KSW.

Its gonna be announcing he is appearing on Contender Series This year. It doesn’t matter what you did before, the Apex with Dana white as jury judge and executioner is the pinnacle of mma

They were definitely talking as there's a picture of him with Hunter Campbell. I don't know if they'd offer what KSW would initially, but perhaps he looks at how well things are going for Gamrot and goes with it anyway.

It's going to be so anticlimactic if he goes to ONE.

For the amount of money he would be signing for, I imaginr they would want to throw their entire PR machine to it. I dont remember the Chandler announcement but from day one you knew he was Dana's new pet.

Maybe, I tend to think it would be more like the Jiri treatment though where they recognise how good he is by putting him straight in against a ranked fighter, but don't do a crowd shot because nobody knows who he is realistically (they would after a couple of fights though).

I can't really think of many people who got the Chandler treatment in recent years other than him and CM Punk.

I thought it was the opposite, if he had signed with the UFC then the news would be out already, but if its business as usual in KSW then we wouldnt know anything yet. KSW might even let him give out the news and make a show out of it. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It’s prize fighting at the end of the day. You want to get as much money as possible. If MMA didn’t have the most coveted title controlled by one promotion, maybe he could be seen as one of the best without having to be lowballed

Don’t have any high hopes tbh. The fact that it’s even a discussion is sad. If the UFC is the big leagues and the elite like they make it out to be, they should be compensating and signing fighters of this level outright. Pathetic we even have to speculate they will be outbid.
