Robert Whittaker always had a feeling Georges St-Pierre wasn’t going to fight him

There was no point in GSP staying at MW. He is way too small for the division. Romero is not much taller but he is a lot bulkier and is a natural MW. I don't blame GSP. What has GSP done that McGregor hasn't. McGregor won against a paper champ in Alvarez (who was actually smaller than McGregor: unedited photos don't lie) and hasn't been back, mainly because he is too scared to face Ferguson?

who cares .... GSP is GOAT and can do whatever the hell he wants.
 
GSP literally took on the only top Middleweight he felt he could beat. Whittaker, Jacare, Romero, Rockhold and Weidman would all starch him. GSP is a phenomenal fighter but I don't expect much different from him, he's not a risk-taker.

Whats more stupid?

- USA fans calling all other countrys fighters "roiders" when they are the country with most flagged athletes.
- Canadian fans defending GSP at all cost, even when he was part of the MW title circus.
 
Big St Pierre fan. Didn't mind him getting to fight Bisping and finish him. But that was Whitakers fight. That is why he is the "Real" champ... Now get well... So the "Bobby Knuckles Era" can begin. ;)
 
GSP is the GOAT and can well do whatever the fuck he wants.

Also, McGregor has a career about ducking contenders, Anderoid Silva ducked Jon Jones and Fedor ducked the entire goddamn UFC. So what?

This. Silva was the scariest dude around in his prime. That being said I think GSP couldve taken it. I actually have more faith in Whitaker beating GSP than Silva

List off all the MWs in the ufc that beat Whittaker. Jacare got shitpumped like he was a bum that didn't even belong in the ufc, right?

GSP was the betting favorite and I'm pretty sure a sizeable number including myself picked him.
 
I've always considered myself a bit of a numbers guy. I was convinced GSP was going to weight just about 199-201 versus Bisping, due to things he had said in the months (and years) leading up to the fight.

A poster here set me straight and shared some quotes by GSP and his crew that he was actually struggling severely with bulking up and that his digestive system was pretty fucked. At that point I had a feeling GSP wouldn't be fighting anyone soon after the Bisping fight... so I guess Whitaker falls into the "anyone" category.

The ufc let GSP get an unwarranted title shot. They are the sole people to blame.
 
GSPs 185 title win should have an asterisk next to it.
