He won the 2nd, the other 2 were close. I had the steamroller winning the 1st and barely winning the 3rd.

Actually, I thought it was the opposite: Frevola barely won rd1 and decisively won rd3.

A closely fought split decision does not fit the definition of robbery.

Nah, It wasnt a robbery, that is thrown around too much nowadays.

The man, Pena, he just didnt get the win. Get the finish or let the judges decide for you, that was his decision...he gave the fight away in this case. Pena didnt "dominate" at all based on what most people saw including myself, dominating then losing is a robbery. I think you just wanted him to win and saw his offense which is normal.

Just one example some pros dont feel the same as you...

Frevola, 8-1 now...he wasnt the most skilled based on his resume. Maybe Pena should have won but again, he didnt dominate nor finish him.

IF you want to be a big name, be a big star, live up to your popular name, and be that violent fan favorite.
Anderson Silva set the blue print for not having a robbery or leaving it in the hands of the judges...by finishing fights.
GSP set the blue print for guaranteeing a decision and making sure they couldn't give the other guy any decision win by shutting down his opponent.

You need to use the gifts YOU HAVE like your length, height, and overall skill to finish a fight, find a way to win. I think some fans (maybe like yourself, I cant say you are this kinda fan...only you know) will yell robbery in a close fight if your fighter of choice didn't get the victory.

If Bob Ross couldnt win this fight he isnt ready for top 5 yet.

That’s exactly who he reminded me of too.

It’s all good to mean mug and shake your head dismissively when your opponent does land on you. But those those things do no favours in the judges eyes.

He’s another fighter whose hair doesn’t help him either. Shave your damn head. All big hair does is make every shot you eat look more significant to the judges.
 
I think Masvidal did some juju where he transferred his old bad habits on to Peña. Peña gets ahead on the cards and then just shuts off and coasts.
 
That fight was way too close to scream robbery no matter whose hand got raised.
 
I like Violent Bob but he took his foot off the accelerator. In a fight that close he should have pushed harder round 3. I have seen a lot of robberies but this isn’t one of them. I wish he would have won though.
