ROAD FC 40: Mighty Mo vs Dong Guk Kang Openweight Title Fight + Opening Round of Lightweight Tourney

as fucking usual the europeans can not watch this and have do go through an illegal stream, Road and ONE must understand the customers here in Europe.

No fucking chance i will block the world if i became a promoter.

It was on YouTube?

yeah sorry you were right, was thinking of fucking Kunlun

I did okay with my picks. Not great, but okay. I wish Dong Hwan Lim had a picture on tapology. If I had remembered who he was, I'd have picked him.

Even then, Kunlun has completely legal ways for international viewers to watch so I'm not sure what you are on about.

just finished the event.

bad news for the koreans in the tournament. it would have been nice to see some of them make it through, but the biggest loser of the bunch is without question nam yui chul. although it was a rematch against a guy who had just beaten him, losing like that was devastating for nam. don't know what's next for him, but he's in a really rough stretch of his career and it seems like he'll have a lot of trouble finding success with the style he's used to get here.

the mongolians are here to take over. really glad to see nandin-erdene win, and also glad for amartuvshin.

Unlike the joke of an Irish takeover, when the Mongolians set out, they conquer 3/4 of the known world.

Good event but fuck those commentators are ass especially the guy who keep rambling about points.

Individual fight videos are up on Road's YT channel now.

Chang Hyun Kim is probably headed back to retirement, he only returned for this tournament

I hope he isn't.

so far the tourny has been udnerwhelming but very smooth and professional

Ring girls have been the only highlight so far

I think ROAD FC not having soccer kicks really holds them back

7 finishes in 8 fights is underwhelming? Also, not having elbows holds them way further back than soccer kicks.

Damn. Sasaki was the one guy I actually wanted to see go far in the tourney.

It's sad to see Shinji San go out like that. 2 Ko losses in 3 fights.

They aren't very good, but the guy is right about the points. With their system, it's important to keep going on the offensive and scoring. Also, for anyone new to RFC, it's good to learn the scoring process.

good job Riki.....

I think he's shot. Age and mileage has caught up to him. Nice win for Hoon, though.

To anyone who's interested in seeing what happens when an 18-4 can crusher fights a legit opponent, go watch Leo Kuntz get absolutely treated like a child for 3 rounds it's pretty funny. One of the most one sided fights ever.

Zavurov, like his cousin Kebab and a lot of the Dagestani boys, also has a resume with a lot of can crushing. Just sayin'

Russian cans > North Dakota cans, obviously.

Bound to happen when you fight as often as he does, he's beaten legitimate guys though. Kuntz is the definition of can crusher, his best wins are a fellow mega can crusher, a guy named Kuchlong Kuchlong, and a 3-3 Taekwondo specialist that was outgrappling Kuntz for 2 rounds before gassing. He also managed to lose to a guy that was supposed to take a dive, that's another level of bad.

Sasaki got his jaw cracked
Wish I would of stayed up I tapped out right after the first fight after intermission

Mighty Mo's foot after his fight:

I mentioned in the comments that three or four fighters tore their feet up on that canvas that night. He replied that it was a new type they were using for the first time, and they're going back to the old type after this.
