News RIZIN FF #48 Sept.29th

^ Looks a bit like Virna Jandiroba.

I think Naoki Inoue would be a fine gentleman to pick up the vacant title.

Anyway this is a really fun card and should be good action. Fun fighters from top to bottom. Never was that high on Gustavo and still am not but he earned the title shot. I think Satoshii gets him, though.

He has won 11 of his last 12 fights and the one loss was because he came into the fight compromised due to being in a crazy three round war for the Shooto FLW title (that Taira vacated to sign with the UFC) and then fought a few weeks later for RIZIN.



Theres no reason not to sign arguably the most exciting FLW fighter in the world.

I'm not saying I agree with it. I just know how the UFC builds it's roster. They might sign an American with a salty record on short notice but they're not bringing in a Japanese guy with 11 losses.

I pay bc I hope they continue existing at all. I know my $20 doesn't go far, but, if they fold, it won't be my fault. I suppose they could fold like PRIDE, where it wasn't even a monetary issue, but still. I won't be blamed

100% I want to sleep at night knowing at least I didn't contribute to another PRIDE / DREAM / SENGOKU scenario. We have the opportunity to somehow make it stay a live a little longer. PRIDE NEVER DIE

RIZIN isn't sure what it is now. They make stars but their stars bring in the crowds not so much for their brand. RIZIN is strange as many of their fighters have hoards of fans like cults some have fans mainly teen girls, after they fight the stadium empties out. No one cares about steriods but the fans if their hero says that's why they lost. So no nothing like WEC.
