Are there any geology or science experts that can assist me with this question? How likely is an earthquake on land overlapping a low-lying flood plain area? According to the FEMA website I am in a earthquake zone yet there has not been a severe earthquake here in over 200 years. If anyone has any experience in this field I would like your input. Thank you.

It doesn’t matter when FEMA is ready to start the round up they won’t need natural disasters as an excuse.

Looking for PhD's and came to Mayberry? Great idea.

Humans can influence seismic activity.

Hydraulic fracturing processes used in oil drilling can cause an increase in seismic activity.

In a seismic zone, the longer it's been since the last earthquake, the closer you are to the next one.
