Man that’s a bummer, obviously Candy Man is a classic but I was happy to see him still getting work in the new Spider-Man game. He was a great Venom, that voice was beyond awesome.

Man that’s a bummer, obviously Candy Man is a classic but I was happy to see him still getting work in the new Spider-Man game. He was a great Venom, that voice was beyond awesome.

Very distinct voice and had a bit of a screen presence about him.

Liked him in his various Star Trek roles.

I think its more than that. He's had HIV for like 30 years. He has had a number of issues over the last decade plus, and its taking a toll on him. He is in a wheelchair now and appears gaunt and frail. I have no knowledge to suggest that his death is immediate or anything like that, but retiring from public appearances to finish your life's work it telling to some degree.

From an era there was no CGI.

In his contract for that movie they agreed he'd get a $1000 bonus for every bee sting he received.

About the easiest, but not least painful, way to make $24K in Hollywood.
