RIP Robert Duvall

Went all the way back to Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird and even drove Steve McQueen around in Bullitt. Legendary career full of some damn fine performances. RIP.

I am legit shocked that I didn’t realize he played boo!! I have seen that damn movie so many times. My old man loved that movie. Must’ve watched it 50 times

RIP to the GOAT

RIP
The first movie I ever saw him in was Gone In 60 Seconds, filmed in 1999, and he was old AF then... Never would have guessed he'd keep going for another 25 years.

He's one of the best parts of the movie, and it has a great cast for what it was.

First Film - To Kill A Mockingbird

In 1969 he co starred with James Caan in their first Coppola movie The Rain People. Coppola would then cast Duvall in his next 4 films (The Godfather, The Conversation, The Godfather Part II, Apocalypse Now)

Duvall made it big in the 70s also in MASH, Joe Kidd, Network and Coppolas big 4.

Also had roles in The Natual, Colors, Days of Thunder, Falling Down, The Apostle, John Q, God's and Generals, Open Range, Secondhand Lions, and the last film I saw of his The Judge.

I missed a lot more but Duvall is an absolute legend in my book. One of the best supporting actors of all time. RIP

Might be time to rewatch Lonesome Dove again. One of the greatest things ever.

RIP. Not many of the greats from this era left now. Hopefully Michael Caine and Clint have a few years left.

RIP, Robert. Loved him in Colors, and many other movies.
