88 is quite a run and what a life and career he had, and oh the fights he saw live. Blessed.

RIP Harold. Godspeed.

Wow, now THAT is a piece of boxing history I’ll miss.

RIP, too bad there I no more HBO boxing to commemorate his passing.

RIP Harold Lederman.

Remember hearing him on HBO since I was a kid. Grew up watching him and the HBO crew.

RIP to a boxing icon. I wasn’t the biggest fan of his scoring but he was dedicated to his work, and the type of colorful character that makes boxing such an eclectic sport.

He’s watching the greats whack each other real good in a better place now.

I missed hearing him when HBO dropped boxing. Now he's gone for good, such a shame the guy was a legend.

RIP

He was simply part of boxing. You are watching a big fight & it’s just natural to wait to hear his voice

In a world full of armchair judges, Harold showed his experience & expertise.

He had that "Fire Marshall Bill" reflex where every time he got posed a question about how the fight was playing out, he'd give it that "Well Bob, LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING!" and then he would go on but I remember thinking "Calm down, Harold" many times. lol

As others have said, he has been a staple in the sport for so many decades he will be missed. Everyone grew up listening to Harold on boxing telecasts.

Part of my youth is gone. Great part of boxing history and a great fan. Sad sad news.

I know time goes on and all, but it’s crazy to think how much different the next decade will be compared to the last one. Most of those old guard are retiring now, Khan and Manny the last real holdouts. HBO is out, boxing is back on network TV and going hard into streaming. I don’t know, it just feels like a big transition these last couple of years.

Change fucking sucks, yet it's the one constant through life.

RIP Harold.
