An accomplished athlete pre-MMA and one of the cult favorites from the early days, along with One Glove, Tank, Kimo, Hackney, etc.

Well...he had to die sometime soon. You can't expect to live past your 40's or 50's if you weigh 600lbs. I can only imagine the health problems he was carrying around with him day to day. It's unfortunate he didn't take his health more seriously as he got older.
 
I still wish he would have eaten Miley Cyrus when he has the chance.

Not to sounds cold, but it must be difficult to put a guy like that in the ground. And I don't mean emotionally.

He tried to lose his weight, but gained much of it back.

It's sad because he was a soft spoken, warm and friendly guy. I guess we all have our own unique journey to experience in life though.

Yeah I heard he was a really genuine person. I hope he was at peace.
