""He was renowned. He was known around the world," said Kyle Zachary, public relations officer at the Kahnawà:ke Peacekeepers."

""Billy Two Rivers was always a natural leader," said MCK spokesperson Joe Delaronde.

"It's interesting that he went right from the wrestling ring into the political ring and didn't miss a beat.... He always knew how to show Kahnawà:ke in its best light. He was a staunch defender of our positions.""

Full disclosure, the last time I paid any attention to Pro Wrestling it still had the likes of the Cuban Assassin and Killer Karl Krupp in it but I thought you here might be interested in the news. When he left wrestling he became a leader in his community, a great guy all around from the sounds of it. Unfortunately, I know only what was in the news and this article, to be honest, so I won't have much else to contribute to this thread, just FYI.

Mods, I searched and didn't find any other threads but if there are, feel free to scrap this.

Just saw over the weekend that Jerry Jarrett passed away last week, too. 2023 been rough on wrestlers so far.
