Riot Games' Valorant

I don't play LoL so I could be wrong but don't you have to buy new champions, but they have a rotation of free ones?

You have to unlock them over time. I'm sure they'll let you purchase them, but you don't have any advantage from doing so.

True, unless it's an agent/champion that's overpowered at the point of release. Which I've heard Riot has been known to do..

That's not pay to win, you can unlock them all by playing the game

I had two league accounts for leagues/competitive and after a while you find your role and champions you'd play and basically stick to those during the patches/cycles.

They had a ban system so they'd usually get banned out, not an issue.

There is a lot of problems with Riot's balancing of LoL, but the pick/ban wasn't ever an issue.

Yeah but it's not usually a big deal. You can ban champs in League. Plus Riot generally acts quick to nerf, and sometimes hotfix, champions.

The weapons you can purchase in game are the same for everyone. You use fake money earned in the game to buy them. You can purchase skins to change how they look though.

Riot doesn't need to do pay to win. If you played League, you'd understand. They make a killing on cosmetic changes while maintaining a completely level playing field.

I could see riot having an option for the fake money to be bought with real money. Not sure if better weapons will give players an advantage in this game though. I played LoL from 2011 - 2016, after that I stopped because the game became stale and became centered around burst damage

Why would they let you purchase in game money with real money? That's the dumbest EA/Activision shit I've ever heard of. Don't think you played LoL if you think Riot would do shit like that.

Got a beta key finally after watching Myth for so many hours, gunplay is very smooth and accurate , i just wish the visuals for powers were less splatoon like ...

Question to those who have/are playing it. When you die and spectate a teammate. Does the spectator client look 128tick? From what ive seen spectating clients appear to be throttled down to 64tick.

I can't stand watching these retards aim at the ground and not have proper xhair placement so I don't pay attention

Haven't played since season 6 and I haven't practiced since season 3 and i'll probably win. From watching my buddies play mother fuckers STILL don't know how to control their own fucking lane and they're diamond 2.

i'm terrible at this kind of game but i got access last night from watching QT's stream, played a game and won and didn't do too bad.

Played my first game over the weekend. I went 34-15-4 and won 13-12

I can't remember if it's been posted here, but the anti-cheat Riot is using for Valorant is going to fuck with your frames when you play other games.
