Ringside safety sparring gloves review.

Talking serious, I have another two guys with these gloves and it is OK, gloves doing they job perfect. The only thing that they are have "novice" skill and have traning from time to time.

Could be their gloves aren't getting the use that yours got or you just got stuck with a bonk pair. That happens. It sucks when it does. Thanks for posting this thread. Definitely helpful for people who are considering these gloves.

Yes, I think the constantly usage (in my case) is "killing" these gloves totally! But I don't think that it was bonk pair like You said, it's just that what You get for this money. I will try the Firetex BGV6 or Cleto Reyes velcro in future, because I can't find anything in Title, Ringside, Boon and etc. popular brands that will shows any good quality, I mean for strong training. We had the "Reyvel" gloves here in Ukraine: http://www.reyvel.in.ua/product_16755.html It had tough leather, really durable - like couch finishing)) But the padding is suxx and the cut too, then the war had taken even this producing and it had stop.

How are the Paffen Sport gloves??? I think I remember seeing the Klitschko's using them at one time?

It is the German trade mark I think, and there was a time when the gloves assortment was such poor that we have only Twins (the best), Paffen Sport (Middle one) and the other Reyvel, Victory and etc.
It is not bad gloves but I never used it and that it was the time when we used not that we would like but only that we have)))

Surprised to hear BOON lumped in with the mediocre brands, I've always seen good reviews for them

Boon used to have a bad case of hit or miss. It seems since the updated logo gloves they have gotten more consistent in quality.

We just to need separate two "good". If You had using gloves from time to time and making the "first steps" or just for getting in shape - it is very good. But three times per week (sparring/working sessions every training) with skilled guys, about 4-5 pairs is changing each by one - so You need smtng more tougher then the brands that I told.

I think that you need to try Boxing Classics extra padding, the Mexicombate edition from Juan (Technoir here on sherdog), Goat leather, welted seams, double stitched... beautiful gloves and the toughest i've ever had
