Hello to All!
It is my first review on the SHERDOG!
The point is

Wow!!!! That looks absolutely horrible!!!! A lot of people say that Ringside aren't what they used to be. This kinda solidifies their statements.

I had use the IMF Ringside gloves before and it's padding was kind of "broken" where you're bend the fingers into the fist, through half of a year.

Yeah I've seen quite a few broken IMF's from them. Never used to be that way.

Did you use any leather conditioner on them ? Looks like the damage area is right where the gloves would rest against the face while sparring. Just wondering.

the leather was ripped off over where the fingers were at? Does he know how to punch with his knuckles :icon_chee

Oh really? I wonder what has changed... Ringside IMFs always used to be a top quality gloves. These I wouldn't even rate 7/10 considering the cost.

Yeah it looks odd.

Yeah it looks odd.

I've seen a lot with bubbling/cracking padding after no time at all. Then I've seen some of the newer stuff with no problems at all. They are becoming hit or miss. Kinda like Everlast.

Thanks. I was pretty sure of it but did not know it it was anither fancy word for another type of IMF lol. Usualy Ringside = IMF.

I am tempted to try them.

Really? It would be interesting to see if yours become zombified after awhile.

Thank You for your attention again my friends!
The gloves used 3 times per week (about 8-10 rounds), the gym is "wet" enough- yes, but it takes 15 minutes to get home and then I'm always take my gloves (any gloves from training) to higher place at my home to lay it on the front side (logo side), when the gloves get dry, I'm using "glove dogs" like these: http://store.titleboxing.com/glovedogs.html
I'm not using any oils or special leather conditioners, just drying with the natural way.
About the "punching with knuckles", yes I understand, many people could say that but even it could be, is it possible to damage gloves like that through the half of a year? Be sure, I'm watching for training procces, because I have not so much students and they do they punches as it should to be.

I can show my own IMF after half of year using, video or pictures - as You wish and describe the "weak" side of these gloves. It is OK.

Yes these gloves is Quad Layer: http://www.ringside.com/ringside/ringside-safety-sparring-boxing-gloves-1.html

I took them after I was disappointed with IMF gloves, and thinked that these are better - yes it is!!!))) These gloves worked through the "whole" year against of the IMF!!!

And pleasу excuse me about to post this review in the wrong thread, will take a note next time!

Weird. My gym has a few pairs of the Ringside Quad Layers in 20 ounce at my gym and they've held up nicely

Talking serious, I have another two guys with these gloves and it is OK, gloves doing they job perfect. The only thing that they are have "novice" skill and have traning from time to time.
