Howdy everyone!
I had a question I was hoping someone could address. First off, I hope everyone is doing well this evening.

I had a question about Ringside's Body Snatcher Bag that no one seems to have touched on. I purchased one about 2 weeks ago and it came in rather quickly! Anyway, I noticed it felt a tad light. The website reads that this bag is between 75-85 lbs, but when I received mine, it didn't feel as such. Apart from boxing, I'm also an avid weight lifter. I'm more or less in tune with how heavy 75-85 lbs feels. I immediately weighed the bag and sure enough it weighed 64.8 lbs! Needless to say I was bummed! I was really hoping for a heavier bag. For the same price I paid for the ringside body snatcher bag, I couldn't purchased the title body snatcher bag much cheaper, since they're the same weight of 65 lbs. Perhaps I'm being a stickler on this weight thing, but I want what I paid for. I was really looking forward to a heavier bag. Did anyone else bother weighing their bag? If so, how much did it weigh?

Finally, i've been a very loyal customer to ringside for the past few years of my life, but their customer service has been absolutely horrible so far. To be fair, I haven't quite experienced anything go wrong with an order prior to this last one, but i've messaged their customer service twice and have not received any kind of response.

Thanks again y'all!

Everyone here knows about Ringside customer service. There is none.

Have a good day!

I don't know, I just got the Title Bodysnatcher Bag and I love it. I tried Ringside last year and the gloves were too tight and I had to resell them and Customer service sucked.

They may have sent you the headshot bag instead..the actual legit bodysnatcher has an embroidered ringside logo while the headshot bag doesn't. If you get a hold of customer service they will correct their weight. You got the correct weight..a girl also told me when I got mine that it should weigh around 70 lbs. They are full of it. The only legit ones that weigh anything more than that weight are from the private companies like AFG, Pro Box, or Outslayer.

Tell me about it! It's been 3 weeks and still not a peep from them! I will never give them my business! Title boxing's service is light years away!

Yeah ringside has great quality stuff but their bags are off. I have plenty of ringside bags and most are off by 5 lbs or so. Not bad but this snatcher bag is off by 15-20 lbs. that's a big difference. I never heard back from them so I just sucked it up and now I'm using it since I'm stuck with it. It's okay. It's not too solid and there are a lot of empty pockets in the bag. Definitely not their finest work.

I received the new version where the logo is painted on the canvas. They don't make it with the embroidered logo anymore. It's unfortunate. Anyway, I doubt I received the headshot bag since I measured it across and vertically and its consistent with their measurements. It sucks that they don't correct their mistakes. I hate companies like that. From here on out, I refuse to give a penny to them. I'm very disappointed with their service! I'm sticking with Forza sports and title boxing.

If it has empty spaces in it, stuff it with old t-shirts

I have been buying a SHITLOAD of Title stuff recently from catch and punch mitt/gloves , the wrecking ball, platinum double end bag, kids leather clasic gloves, just mad stuff because Im upgrading my gym and while I have always gotten Title gloves I have never gotten this much variety and so far everythingseems everything seems great and well made. So Title impressed me as a single customer getting the essentials like wraps shoes and gloves.lol. But now Im copping stuff on a wat bigger scale and they still are impressing me. Delivery turnaround everything pretty much.lol. They owe me a check!lol

Ohhhhh wait, they should be ashamed of their "duffle bags". I tried to get the red 1 for me blue for my asst coach and pink (they gave me the black.smh) for my other helper and they are so small I seriously can ONLY fit the catch gloves and my new Incredi-Ball mitts in there. Nothing else! How you gonna call tbat a duffle? Smallest duffle bag Ive seen in LIFE but other than that Titles the shit and Ringside does have bad customer service.

Thanks for your post.

Have you heard anything back from Ringside? I just ordered the Ringside body snatcher bag through Amazon (it's selling for $116 with prime shipping so I could not resist). I'm just planning on sending it back if it turns out to weigh a lot less than the advertised 75–80lbs. I'm wondering whether you had any luck with Ringside... I saw your review on Amazon: if you bought it through Amazon, have you tried sending it back/exchanging it? I imagine they'd be more helpful than the folks at Ringside.

Howdy Hangulmalmotayo!

I never heard back from Ringside. i sent them 3 more emails after the original post and never heard a peep. It's actually sad. I'm NEVER doing business with them again. I actually purchased the bag through their website. I saw that amazon had them as well when I was getting ready to initially purchase it, but with a coupon code I wound up buying a few other things that was more economical to buy directly from their website. Anyway, best of luck my friend. I'll be honest, I've used the bag and it's not too bad. I mean, I'm 5'11 205 so one hit sends it swaying about a little more than I would have hoped for, but it's decent. Please keep me posted! Maybe you'll have better luck!

Well, the bag arrived today from Amazon. I haven't weighed it, but it's definitely around 75–80 lbs. The thing is a lot bigger than I had anticipated. Also, it's not as well made as I expected it to be. The top part looks cheap and the metal was a bit rusty. But what can I do? At $116 it was still a good deal...

Thanks again for your post!

I just spent some time punching the Ringside body snatcher bag. I am supremely underwhelmed. I think it is the poor quality of the bag. It does not seem to be full and wherever I punch seems to deflate (while another part will be pushed out full of air, if that makes sense) which is an extremely unsatisfying feeling. It just feels too soft. My glove sinks into the spot where I punch and it doesn't come back out or just the outer shell comes back out. Jcastano: has this been your experience?

I have the Aqua Training Bag (though I'm not using it because I work out in my garage which causes the bag to get really hard even if it's not frozen) and when it's not freezing, it works much better than this Ringside body snatcher bag. With that said, I'm returning this bag. I'm thinking the poor quality is the reason for the lower price. I might try the Title body snatcher bag instead.

What up bro! Sorry for the late reply! To address your question, I did have a similar experience with how Unfilled the bag is. It does seem to deflate with every strike. It's extremely soft and I agree, it's underwhelming, but I use it anyway partly because I'm stuck with it lol. It's alright I suppose but if I can go back in time and opt for a better quality bag even if it's more expensive, I totally would. Did you return it after all?

No problem! I did end up returning it. I'm moving soon and the new home has a basement so I might just stick with the aqua training bag which has so far worked well for me when it's not freezing. It's unfortunate that the quality of ringside products seem to be in fast decline.
