She just fought last fight on her contract with UFC.
So, where will she go? I don't think she wants to fight outside of Japan anymore.
I think Pancrase is a good fit for her.

If the UFC doesn't want her, they would have just cut her after a loss, even with fights left on her contract. If you expect to do well, short contracts with more opportunities to bargain for market value seem to be the way to go, when dealing with the UFC. They only keep you around after losses if they've locked you in at a bargain.

There don't seem to be too many Japanese fighters that can come close to their success inside Japan, outside Japan. I think she would be smart to stay in Japan.

UFC has 135 and 115 divisions, and Rin really ought to fight at 125

She should go back to Japan where the competition is easier. Rizin or whatever, I'm not really hyped for her future fights.

She should find a new career.

I'm sure she could get paid to take more weird pictures.

She's fighting bigger than she should be/she's fighting water cutters.

I would be ok with never seeing her fight again. Her striking last night was beyond bad for a professional fighter.

More than likely she will be back in Pancrase. Would be a good fit for her, still on an event that broadcasts internationally, will likely be treated as a star by the promotion, and can fight at Flyweight like she wants. It's too bad we haven't gotten to see her celebratory flips in the UFC, p4p best flips in the game.

Her husband sounds like a buffoon. Total overinflated sense of her abilities led to her getting less money over the course of two years while doing nothing (which includes her fights).

It sucks that Rin's manager is also her husband. Makes it very difficult to break away and move to another training camp.
On top of that, it is clear that he sucks at negotiation. The 4-fight deal was the better choice. I don't see how Rin can convince the UFC to extend her contact, especially since they wanted her gone.

I also wonder what fights the UFC offered her that were refused.

She should train with or at least watch Sean Sherk who knows how to win against longer opponents.

The rumor was that Shelbey would only offer her fights at straw weight.

I've heard Sean Shelby kept offering her fights at 115 and she turned those down but idk if that's accurate.

Edit: son of a bitch Leto

If Nakai was willing to cut her muscle mass to fight at a lighter weight class, she would have to cut down to 105 to fight against fighters her size.

I could see her having the most success fighting in the states if she went to invicta to fight at atomweight. Of course this probably won't happen because her bulky build is what she's recognized for.

Did he count on her winning big knowing her first opponent was going to be Cupcake Tate? If so, that's...

That would mean he was confident Rin was Ronda level or higher since not even Cat beat Tate easily. Holy moly. Poor Rin 'BW Destroyer' Nakai.

She sucks she's not going to be a force at any weight class.

Weird how many fans she has, don't get it

I'm a fan mostly because of the absurdity of her as a fighter/wierd fetish model. It's genuine entertainment lol.
