Right & Wrong? A Flow Chart...

Amazingly craptacular flow chart.

Not the best logic I've ever seen.

Fukking lost it at "GOD" LOL

Brb all-knowing and omnipotent but can't find adam and eve hiding in the garden for a while

Brb knows the past and future but gets angry and jealous about stuff that happens

Brb butthole still next to genitals

Child abuse is not objectively wrong. A different sentient race does not have to have a moral judgement of the human concept of child abuse. For example, an alligator does not judge a :eek::eek::eek::eek: fiddlin' a child if he'd see it. The morality of it is bound to our race, so yes it is subjective to us.

i fucking knew it!

we need fear.

is infanticide objectively wrong? There are numerous species that depend on it- multiple eggs laid, and the first to hatch eats the others for sustenance. And some species require the mother to kill or eat surplus babies. The life of any one individual is meaningless in the greater picture. All life cares about is its individual genes surviving to the next generation. Morality is just one social tool that humans developed to work better as groups.

TS already believes in the magic man in the sky and most likely agrees with the flow chart so why does he need other posters to discuss it? We know you're not going to take opinions contrary to your own seriously.

Seems legit

All the cherry picking that's done with the bible - what's literal, what parable; what to take seriously, what to overlook...all arbitrary - proves that even you don't believe God is moral.

No, morality isn't objective. But there are overwhelmingly intuitive (and instinctual) ways to flourish together.

Treating this like "God or Nihilism" is a gross distortion of reality.

The point is that positing God as a necessary basis for morality creates more problems than it solves.
Really? Such as? It solves the otherwise unsolvable problem of absolute morality and I really don't see any real problems in the false dilemma of Euthypro.

What happened to the objective morality of slavery?

My Dog has morals... he doesn't bite people, he feels shame when he does something wrong, he will defend his family. etc.

Pretty sure he doesn't believe in God.
