A or D

At random you have a 1 in 4 chance of being right.

Unless A and D actually represent the same answer and either one is accepted as correct, then it is 2 out of 4, 50%, answer B.

So it depends, I feel like the question is worded in a way that is just non-specific enough to make this a toughie.

I was going to say 25%, but then I saw there were 2 of them so add it together and 50% has to be the correct answer

There are 3 different answers so the odds are one in 3 of picking correctly or 33.333%. Since that isn't one of the answers there is no chance to be correct.

I don't get it.
I have a 100% chance to be correct of the answer I chose. Since any answer I don't choose would be the wrong answer.

Well if you answer based on perceived odds you are not answering at random

Well you have a 1 in 4 chance if one answer was right. That’s 25%. There are 2 25% answers. So you have a 2 in 4 chance, or 50%. But one of the answers is 50%. So the answer is B. Since only one answer is B, you have a 1 in 4 chance of getting choice B. So 25%

Agree with the 33.3 percent gang. Otherwise I'd have said B.
