Rico & a bunch of Glory/K1 guys are absolutely brutal & amazing (Badr Hari for instance).
Though I wouldnt like to see them in pure MMA fights because it would be a boring outcome with the opponent ALWAYS trying to wrestle/take them down.

If they had some kind of 100% kickboxing promotion IN UFC, I would fucking tune in for every fight.
I really dont get how Dana White doesnt see the profit potential of organising semi mma/kickboxing fights in the cage (with K1 rules for instance).

Seems like a good guy , but he's only champ because K-1 is really weak right now. He would never come close in the days of Hoost, Aerts, Bonjasky, Hari, etc

Guess why. Cross over top athletes got paid top money back then in Pride. From Judo, wrestling, kickboxing...etc.

just did a rough count. 33 weight classes in mens combat sports in the olympics. 3 medals means 99 Olympic medalists. if we said 08 was the cut off for being of an age worth starting mma today, that is almost 300 Olympic medalist martial artists. where the fuck are they all????
