Rico Verhoeven moving to MMA

He doesn't really have any challenges in kickboxing at the moment and he'd make more in MMA. I think he'll just combine both until he has a few wins under his belt in MMA and then make the switch.
 
i agree, nobody left for him to fight

just hope he doesnt get locked in to a contract ala Bellator

sure he could do MMA and Kickboxing there but i want to see him in UFC
 
The only fight for him in KB is Badr Hari and he just got in trouble yet again so it's unlikely that fight will happen.

God damn Badr Hari is such a fuck up man.

Also he got caught with a bunch of roids and HGH in his house which I never see people mention on here.
 
I hope he and Spong both decide to move to MMA full time as soon as possible. I always enjoy cross over athletes.
 
Saw a clip of him lighting Michael Johnson up in training. Dude has sick striking.

I hope not. We already have Overeem to rep elite kickboxing in MMA. I'd prefer to just see Rico keep beating up the same guys in Glory.

are you talking about Verhoeven or Nikey? Because there are a few clips of Holkzen sparring MJ.

Because Rico would have like 70 pounds and 1 foot ever Johnson.

I swore I saw that like a year ago. I don't think it's mentioned as much since this part of the forum is pretty dead and Badr Hari's popularity has gone done along with the frequency of his fights.

That's the one my bad. Nikey looked terrifying in that shit. Is Rico the one who was training with Luke?
 
Would like to see him vs CM in their ufc debuts.
Would be cool to see a couple of "unknown" guys on the MMA circuit fight.
I wish we could go back to seeing how fighters perspective skillets stacked-up.
