He could be bodybuilding, but he could also just be lifting because he likes working out and being strong or any number of other reasons that are not bodybuilding.

You can stop taking trt and if done correctly end up with the same levels you started. Your natural test does nothing but decrease as you get older.

If you want elevated levels then you will be on it for life. Not trying to adorn steroids here but if you're in your 40s then you don't really have anything to lose.
