Actually he's also got a black belt in BJJ. There's only a handful of guys who've got both olympic judo and BJJ black belts, he's one of them (Ray Stevens of England, who got a silver in judo in the '92 olympics, just got his BJJ black belt as well, from Roger Gracie).

rhadi is a monster but also technical, he does not get enough credit for his technical side

yeah I knew he had a BJJ BB I was wondering if he had won/compted much in BJJ after his judo career?

That nogi foot sweep was really cool. He looks like a freaking madman on the mat.

Crushing people with that high crotch. Don't know what it's called in judo, but I've never seen a judo guy shoot the high-c like that, over and over.

Te Guruma in judo. Rhadi does it very well, but there are a few others who use it a lot as well. Tends to be used more in the heavier weights than the light weights.

Ferguson is a very technical fighter by the way, there's a lot of throws he can do extremely cleanly. It'd be pretty amazing to have him as a trainer (which is what he does now).

That's how you take people down - you fucking sell out. I love watching guys who truly understand that executing a technique without full commitment to it is a good way to get your ass kicked. I'm going to watch this again before class tomorrow - I'm planning on doing a fair amount of standup grappling for the first time in way too long to get ready for some competitions.
