I personally think its awesome for when you want to REWATCH any fight, like at the end where u hear that sick head kick sound and see the referee wave his arms to end the fight. Would love to see fights through the eyes of referees like Yamasaki and Mazzagatti with their strict warrior codes.

You want to see Mazzagatti's view of anything but the fight?

Cro Cop beat him like he owed him money.

PRIDE fighters couldn't feint for shit, and very few could throw a decent combination.

What’s your record?

Are you retarded? I'm alluding to UFC fighters today being infinitely better, not myself. I always laugh when people talk about Coleman as if he would be a dangerous fighter by today's standards, he literally had nothing other than obvious takedown attempts and good ground and pound.

Agreed...I remember watching Shogun vs Rampage through the ref-cam, it gives you a whole new perspective of the fight...

UFC should definitley use it more, it's perfect for combat sports.

Brock?
Hunt only having his hands and kicks but being slow and immobile

How would Pete Sell do against the UFC guys today? (Because he fought in the UFC the same month and year as this Cro Cop fight).

You just answered your own question. Today MMA has evolved leaps and bounds than what it was. Those were the days where fighters still mostly relied on their one specific art. Coleman was strictly a ground and pound fighter, as soon as he got you to the ground you WERE done, he kneed you in the fricken head which is illegal in UFC as well as kicks to the head. Lots of PRIDE fighters lost a couple tools coming to the US. Again, the fighters today have evolved and its clear. Thats why I shake my head when Chuck Liddell says he could beat Jon Jones in his prime. Sorry but no you would not.

he won belts. there aer still plenty of specialists today. ill give you the overall skill set is so high right now but down playing a guy like coleman isnt right to me. look at HW right now and tell me he wouldnt be one of the best

Oh don't get me wrong, UFC at the time was no better and PRIDE certainly had the better bigger guys.

You make a good point. Granted I still wouldn't say Coleman would be one of the BEST in today's HW, but definitely top 10 which is just sad. Shows how little HW has evolved.

Coleman looked bewildered after the 2nd or 3rd takedown failed. There was no plan B

If this was in the UFC Coleman would have repeatedly run Crocop in to the cage and held him until the ref separated them, probably winning a decision

Yeah, CC always did well trapping guys in the corners.

Cro cop is criminally underated on here. That was a master performance stuffting all of those takedown attempts from an olympic caliber wrestler. It's also very hard to throw combinations with a guy like that because You'll get taken down.
