I unfortunately have to get up early for work, and this show is on tbs for like 3 hours each am

I admit I hated the show when I was younger(29 now), but I guess now I "understand" the show. No way most of the jokes would fly now, as they are all fat jokes and jokes about womanizing

Jefferson Darcy is one of the greatest characters ever imo

I used to love that show but only because my mom didn't like it I think

Kelly Bundy was my first tv crush. Loved that show.

Jefferson taking off his NO MA'AM shirt to reveal a YES MA'AM shirt is easily one of the funniest moments in MWC history!

Yeah that show wouldn't pass today lol. But I like watching it. I like Kelly's outfits and when she does her hair all big.

Al is nasty. And I can't get over how bad his hair looks

I loved the MWC seasons with Jefferson, Griff and No Ma'am, but surprisingly I've seen a lot of posters on imdb who say they like the earlier seasons when Marcy was married to Steve.

Which half of the MWC seasons do you guys like? Early seasons with Steve or the later seasons with Jefferson?

Great show, loved it when I was young kid just based off the characters.

I'm sure if I re watched it now and got more of the jokes and meaning of the show I would like it even more. I've seen episodes like you said early in the morning on tbs the past couple years and laughed at jokes I probably didn't when I watched it the first time around.

Does anyone watch the show now and think to themselves "Did I really find Kelly attractive?"

IMHO she isn't hot at all!

This show also reminds us what a real audience sounds like instead of the lame laugh tracks of today that try to convince you that what you're watching is funny.

It's always funny when Al or Kelly first come into a scene and the audience goes crazy for 10 seconds, making Al/Kelly wait before they delivered their lines.

Jefferson all the way.

Like OP, hated it when it was being aired.
Now, long afterwards, I can find it funny.
Back then it was the Duck Dynasty of its day, white trash parade.
I think MWC has aged well, especially considering that the shit would never get green-lit now.

I hear that too. I'm a fan of both. If I had to pick, I would probably lean with Jefferson.
Steve wasn't as silly as Jefferson, but I find the seasons with him just as funny. Steve and Marcy were the only characters that were educated (besides Bud).

Jefferson, Griff and No Ma'am were silly. Falling off the roof, going to DC to try to get Psycho Dad back on air.

This scene always gives me a good laugh.

Can one of the older posters answer this, it was supposed to be a parody/slap in the face to the barrage of sitcoms aired on the other networks, right? Watching 're runs, they take a lot of jabs at shows from that time. Especially friends it seems.

And I favor the Jefferson era more. Ted McGinley aka Stan the man gable is excellent

This show had the greatest characters and reoccurring themes. Amazing show.

I never make fun of anyone's physical appearance, I do tend to make fun of everything else though.

With that said, Ii don't find Christina Applegate attractive. Then or now

I think so. I remember them mentioning it in the documentary, where they just wanted to go the opposite direction of all the other shows (Roseanne and Sam Kinison were suppose to be the original Peg and Al).

The episode 'Camping show' aka 'Period Piece' is one of my favorites.
