News Return of Todd Duffee

I thought that was a 2013/2019 before/ after pic of Tod Duffee at first. Is Duffee still jacked?
Duffee is way smaller now. Unless he gained mass or fat in the last couple of years, he is probably going to be around 230 lbs. And he wanted to cut from 290 within 5 years according to one of his interviews during Brock era.

He gets another dough boy, and frankly, I think the big guy is gonna win. His boxing looked good in that last fight I saw him in, while Duffee was last seen frozen in carbonite while eating a burrito.

You need a spoiler for that spoiler bro i wasn't ready for that shit!

Lots of surgeries. 3 year layoff. Dropped by Mir.

I’d bet Hughes +110 in a heartbeat.

Fucking Todd Duffee. This guy.

So heres my story about Todd Duffee:

It was back in the heyday of the UFC when all of our friends would get together for PPV parties.
This was the time of the giants. Lesnar had just gotten the belt. Ubereem was a big deal. Carwin was still around. Then here comes a 23 yr old monster. 6'3 250lbs of roided out youth. 5-0 all wins by KO/TKO. In his debut BAM sets a KO record.
So I'm at this party for his second fight and I hyped this guy up HUGE. Next big thing.

We all know what happened next. The gif is in this thread. Hammerfist of doom.

That was the day i learned not to believe the hype of anyone. All it takes is one good punch.

Ever since then I've always thought "He could come back" but it's always been one thing after another a huge layoff, another KO, his career has been the most amazing trainwreck in MMA.
I will always tune in but never expect much.

WAR DUFFEE!
JUST BLEED!

Is he a wrestler? I haven’t seen him rassle so I don’t know if he’s any good at it.

He comes to bang, though, that’s for sure!
He was billed as one of the wrestlers with Carwin and Cain if I'm remembering correctly

Duffy is 4-3 in the last 10 years, he fought 1 time in the last 5 years, yet we still talk about it like he's a big thing. Pretty impressive imo.

He seems like a case of lost potential.

Looked amazing in all his wins and he was beating the breaks off Russow and only had two minutes left when he got starched.

He got wrecked by prime Horsemeat Ubereem which is no shame and then his last loss was getting caught by Mir in one minute so it's hard to know how good he could have been with so few fights.

Sherdog has an obsession with elusive beasts who come down from the ether to our realm to tweet and occasionally fight. In this way, Duffee is no different than Nick Diaz.

I remember an Interview with White back then. Pure Comedy gold. Back then he talked about the New Breed of HW fighters (Sherdog ate it up as always) and how much better these monsters will be than these Pride scrubs in every technical aspect because you know evolution and shit. He deliberately talked shit about Fedor (like always) but included other Pride fighters.

As New Breed he had indentified Duffee, Schaub and Browne. <Lmaoo><Lmaoo>

I don't know what happens, here.

I don't rate Hughes as a HW. He strikes me as a lazy 205lb'er, he isn't particularly tall nor large framed, just plump. For a HW, he absolutely lacks knockout power and that's always gonna hamper him going forward in a division where most opponents could skull him with one shot.

What Hughes does have though, is durability and okay cardio. Neither of which Duffee has. He's also active.

Either Duffee looks amazing and steamrolls him inside 2mins, prompting 'is he back?' type conversations. Or Hughes TKO's a knackered Dufee in the 3rd round.

Duffeemhas never went the distance he either knocks people out or he gets knocked out. Should be a fun fight however long it lasts

I hope to see him perform to his He-Man Masters of the Universe potential.

I’m going with the other guy; he’s more skilled than Duffee.
