Television Retro Simpsons was so good

I started giving out likes then noticed how old the posts were. I wonder if any of those guys are still around here? And old Simpsons and South Park were both great. I was in Catholic school and we were told to not watch watch the Simpsons, they are sinful. I actually used to watch the Tracey ullman show and the early shorts in the 80s
My parents let me watch king of the hill and the Simpsons but weren’t big fans of South Park for some reason.

IMO, king of the hill was the GOAT animated comedy of that era though.

This week's Simpsons quotes from years ago that are regularly on repeat in my head:

'Attempted murder,' what is that? Do they give a Nobel Prize for attempted chemistry? Do they?!

Crackers, ho!

My wife hates King of the hill and I don't get why.

My family watched cartoons together every Sunday. Starting with breakfast and then fox with dinner. My mother loved King of the hill and would draw parallels with our lives, she refused to watch after Peggy became more comical, like it was an attack on her...... And like that was not a Peggy response

Moe: Linda Ronstadt? How’d you manage to get her?

Barney: We’ve been looking to do a project together for a while.

Such a great episode. When the family watches the abstract, pretentious Mr. plow commercial.

Lisa: Was that your new commercial, Dad?

Homer (confused and upset): ..I don’t know…
