Miguel Torres is 5'9" with a 76" reach who is now currently at FW.

Dom is 5'8" with a 68" reach. If my memory serves me right, MM beat Torres with his wrestling. But wait...that's also how Dom schooled MM. & wasn't out struck...even with his broken hand.

Since this thread was bumped, I actually re-watched the Torres vs Johnson fight like an hour ago, hah.

Fight was close but simply due to Miguel's offense off his back, striking & sub attempts from bottom. Everywhere else, Demetrious had it & size was not an issue as I had already knew/remembered. He hit five nice easy takedowns, was swept a few times but he also swept Miguel.

Also a great point I forgot to mention,

I think it's hilarious how people refuse to mention that Demetrious broke his leg early in the fight against Miguel and kept fighting.

Love ya Homeless, but Torres also spent much of that fight on his back trying to work subs. Judges didn't count that toward him and if memory serves, people were split on who deserved the W. Don't think it was a robbery by any means, just that it could have been looked at one way or another. Mighty Mouse's top control vs. Torres submission offense off his back.

With that said, I'd love to see a rematch. MM has grown exponentially in his skills, and Cruz has done great in rebounding from his injuries, though that will always be a question mark in every fight of his from now on.

Yes. People who actually have a clue scored it for Torres. One of the few fights where you can say definitively the guard player won the ground battle without a sub.

I'm not sure. Haven't seen in awhile. But it was a UD & looking at the stats, 5 tds for DJ to 0 & Miguel out struck him 95-63. DJ 13-10 in sig strikes.

No. Dominick has always been & always will be a better wrestler than DJ. That's what the fight comes/came down to. Wrestling is the weakest part of DJ's game(not saying it's bad, but it's true).

Fight was at 135. That would mean Cruz would have to be over 165 for you to be right, just no. Dom has never been 165 I bet. And even after rehydrating I seriously doubt he is above 150. Cruz is not a big guy and he doesn't have that large a frame.
