That fight was quite disappointing.

Carvalho did not look like he belonged in the same ring/cage than Mousasi. It's like they were on two completely different level, he looked quite amateurish next to Gegard. It's hard to imagine he was Bellator MW champion.

He has said about fight in 205 and it's possible superfight but Bader has to finish HW GP that's why time for Rory

It was very predictable. Halsey is by far Carvalho's best win and he was an iffy fighter himself. Carvalho look terrible in both fights against Melvin and should have lost the first fight, then Bellator fed him the living remains of Sakara in one of the dumbest fights ever. Dude never really beat anyone, but Bellator's MW division is extremely weak

Carvalho was a weak champ. Eked out a decision against Schilling, who had a career losing record, even at the time they fought. Stopped Halsey to win the title (Halsey, who probably got lucky he got the takedown right away against Schlemenko judging by their quick rematch) Got awarded a BS decision against Manhoef in one of the worst title fights of all time(I was there first row). Then had to go another 4 rounds to KO a shot 40 year old Manhoef. And then somehow gets Allesio Sakara as a title defense.
