What an incredibly pointless reminder.

Pac/Floyd is an outlier. Its gonna be a record for a long time. Rest of UFCs year did better than rest of boxings year minus that fight

May-Pac was an anomaly, there isn't an active boxer who can sell 1 million buys these days

that fight was boxings last hurrah and everyone watched and it was terrible.

might be a reason since then ufc has really seemed to take over boxing. well one of the many reasons.

And how much has boxing made since? This is a marathon. Not a sprint.

Boxing has been an industry for hundreds of years, compared to MMA's being around as a real business since 1993. What do you expect?

how much revenue did all of boxing generate compared to just may/pac?

And the two guys shared about three hundred million bucks. Thats a lot of cash compared to any sport.

LOL at people who use the biggest boxing match ever as some sort of measuring stick against anything. Would you compare UFC 100 to your average boxing event?

Remider: MMA (UFC) started 1993.

in the past 4 months, the ufc has more 1 mil+ ppvs than boxing has had in the past 3 years

May/Pac was 5+ years of pent up demand for the biggest boxing match ever. Its silly to compare that fight to anything.
