Remind me, why exactly wasn't Rousey at 200?

Not pounds...UFC 200. What is the reason she didn't get herself ready and come back to fight Tate?

I feel like there's this implied, unspoken (now, at least) understanding that, "oh she's still 'working it out.' " (is that how you end a quote within a quote)?

Working what out? And then the other reason that's kinda lazily floated out there without any true rebuttal from anyone is this very nebulous and general statement about her "movie shooting schedule." So she was literally shooting a movie during the months leading up to UFC 200? So there was something specific and tangible that kept her from being able to prepare for 200?

I guess I'm trying to get a feel for a general consensus. Is it that she still hasn't mentally recovered? For the people who's watched her interviews, is that the feeling you get? Has an interviewer directly asked her that question? Yeah, they've asked her "if she's coming back," but how about, "what's kept you out so long, and why haven't you given a definitive answer for your return?" To me that's the obvious question, and to avoid asking that is ignoring the 178 pound female elephant in the room. I can't bring myself to watch any current interviews as she surely will portray herself as some kind of victim, but I get the general feeling that the interviewers are treating her with kid gloves without asking the one main question.

If she were coming back, she really ought to say, "I'm 100% going to return by the end of the year." This should be a certainty, not a maybe. What's there to debate?

Because she wanted a longer layoff

Why exactly do you feel the need to change the colour of your print in all your posts?

Because there is no WMMA Heavyweight division yet

This thread is vintage sherdog....

When meisha wins title sherdog says "I bet ronda is going to run back to the cage/work now that she can possibly win hahahaha"

Ronda doesn't say a word publicly about it. UFC 200 comes and goes

"Why didn't Ronda come back to face Tate?? What happened"

By being Hollywood and taking time off.

I bet she comes back at 205.

Because she is retired. Easy as that.

At the weighins against Holly, suddenly Rondas body had changed and she looked soft, out of shape, and like she had lost a ton of muscles. Most people on here blame it on USADA, and it could be, but at least we know that something is not right.

I'm not reading all of that. She's mentally unprepared. Are there really any posters making excuses for her?

A quote within a quote is written as '" (no space) but it you also need to put ' at the beginning of the embedded quote. Also, what you put just needs regular quotation marks; it's not a quote within a quote. I didn't read the rest of what you said, sorry.. You kind of lost me between that and the color font.

she couldnt cut to LHW to fill in for Jones in time

She's not interested in MMA.
