Yet they did have kimbo... they also had royce vs hughes. they had shamrock vs tito a couple times after shamrock was done.At least Zuffa/WME haven't had anything like Kimbo vs Dada treefiddy.

When I think of Freakshow fight, I'm thinking huge weight differences, bizarre fighting styles, etc etc. Freakshow fight is waaay different than signing WW GOAT GSP to fight Bisping.

you're aware wec champ and ufc champ are in the same sport. it's like dismissing rockhold as a fighter and calling him some model. it's stupid. brock is a tough fight for just about anyone. the fact that he's a pro wrestler doesn't change that.

It's worse if anything, Cro-cop was a top 10 HW, CM Punk fought a 1-0 unranked guy.
PRIDE would've jumped on the CM Punk opportunity and probably have had him fight Fedor or Wanderlei.

The same year Fedor destroyed Zulu, he also fought Cro Cop who was #3 in the world and had the rematch against Kosaka who was then the only guy to have "beaten" him. I don't see the issue with freak fights when top fighters still fight true competitors as often as UFC guys did.

His combat sports credentials were waaaay ahead of cm punk.
