Fuck the criteria if you're telling me it's a 10-7 lol.It actually should have been a 10-7 round according to the criteria. Fitch would have won with the rule changes no doubt.

Penn was outlanded 149-2 in strikes and completely dominated in the grappling aspect for the entire round. The only reason you would score that a 10-9 is because you have a hard-on for Penn or hate Fitch.Fuck the criteria if you're telling me it's a 10-7 lol.

Yeah, that's what we call a "10-8" round. Even if you gave the first 2 rounds to Penn, it's still a draw. If the second round is a 10-10, Fitch wins.Did Penn land any strikes in the 3rd round? Wasn't many if any at all. Where as Fitch landed over 100.
EDIT: Just checked the fightmetric.
2 strikes landed by BJ in r3, 1 significant. 0/0 Takedowns
149 stikes landed by Fitch, 26 significant. 3/3 Takedowns.
It was awesome when Dana called him out on it, and called JD flipping out because BJ wasn't training, then BJ said on the Countdown show that if Dana talks about his training again he'd slap him hahahaFuck you man! haha![]()
I don't understand the mindset of people who can watch a dude get completely dominated in the final round and then think they won the fight.Yeah, that's what we call a "10-8" round. Even if you gave the first 2 rounds to Penn, it's still a draw. If the second round is a 10-10, Fitch wins.
Well, I can't speak for fighters in general, but for Penn, I think he just never thought he lost any fight no matter what. He cried robbery in the 2nd Edgar fight I think. The only fight he "really" lost was the time he quit after the 4th round against GSP (but of course had a ton of excuses there, too). Well, that and the last fight with Edgar.I don't understand the mindset of people who watch a dude get completely dominated in the final round and then think they won the fight.

Fitch would have been deducted 3 points in pride for that blanket round 3 where he tries nothing offensive. Round 3 9-7 Penn
