People need to shut the fuck up about performance enhancers.
 
Quite a long time ago but yes he doesn't do as bad with wrestlers as most think. Chael did phenomenal until the 5th round and The Chris did aight in the grappling department. But that's about it.

However DC is a beast of his own kind, should be a fun match up nevertheless.
 
Well, I think he lost the first round. But he did submit him in round 2. I wouldn't say destroyed.
I also wouldn't count out Anderson based on the DC vs Hendo fight.
People aren't giving him much of a chance.
Silva may be 41 but DC isn't exactly 22 himself.

Remember how Weidman and Sonnen ran roughshod over Silva in wrestling?

DC can throw Weidman and Sonnen out of the cage. He can mop the floor with the guys who mopped the floor with Silva in grappling.

This is not a competitive fight and frankly the guy might get hurt.
 
And Cormier didn't?

Hell, Hendo managed more offense against Silva than he ever did against Cormier.
 
Yes but that was 8 or 9 years ago. Big difference in Anderson being 32 and him being 41 now. Even then I will never count out The Spider. DC is obviously the favorite but Silva is still dangerous.

True. DC is so much bigger though and more well-rounded than Chael.
 
LoL that was literally like 10 years ago. and he lost the first round. People need a reality check.
 
10 years ago when he was in his prime, still had his granite chin and super-human speed and reflexes.

In his prime, I give Anderson a good chance against anybody, but today, at 41 years-old , with zero training camp and 2 days notice, Cormier is going to destroy him.

This is the truth.

Massive respect to Silva for coming on zero notice to fight a top 2 LHW, but this is a horrible opponent for him. Forget about Andy's striking, his BJJ game is going to have to be the best it's ever been for him to win.
 
Ugh, I don't want to see this fight. Especially with no title on the line. Don't want to see another Silva loss....
