everyone is not the same...people can last a long time...and still be at their best...look at bernard hopkins..then you have guys that burn out at 25...Fedor was most definitely not in his prime against hendo...now, my definition of prime is, he no longer fights the way he once did...whatever the reason is...he always used to standup to set up his takedowns and submissions...and/or ground and pound...If he could just beat you standing he would...but he always mixed in takedowns...he stopped doing that, at a certain point...long before hendo...

lets put it this way...the fedor that fought hendo, was not the same fedor in pride...that is 100% for sure...fedor in pride would have put that mediocre mma wrestler hendo on his ass and pounded the shit out of him...or tapped him out....just like silva did...and silva isn't even a good wrestler or that great of a submission guy...
 
First thing that springs to my mind is Lindland curling buckets of manure on a farm for a workout after his retirement.

I only hit 30 sumthin of them and most were against the ropes. I intentionally don't pass and let the computer get up against the ropes and I would slam my opponent back down or just suck his legs back out, throw body punches, rinse and repeat.
 
Several years ago I heard a funny story about him and his grossness.

LOL, he was eating chicken wings with someone and didn't have a napkin with him. Instead of getting up and grabbing one, he reached across the table and grabbed someone else's nasty used napkin and wiped his hands and mouth with it not giving a fuck. Can't remember who told the story.
