Hendo is a guy that could never win a ufc title...cause while he was great in a small pond..the moment he came to the ocean...he drowned..he had 2 chances at world titles and lost both times.

Not really a complete myth, Fedor did briefly grab the rope for some stability (water and sand).

However, just seconds earlier, Lindland had much worse grab himself, to trap Fedor in the corner and with a TD in the first place.

So it was pretty much 1:1 and instant karma.

Rope grab was a myth huh? lol 1st round might have gone a lil bit differently if not for that. On a side note, I just used my UFC 3 caf Linland in a Pride tourney and his 1st round fight I spammed like 50 sumthin takedowns, took 0% damage, and won by tko in 1 round. It was epic Matt Linland.

I've cracked the code on Fedor's prime. Whenver Fedor loses fights he's "out of his prime." Never mind that many HWs peak in their mid-30s and continue fighting until their 40s. And never mind that Fedor didn't take that much damage in his early fights. If he was 33 and lost to a 39 year old, Fedor was past-his-prime and his opponent had youth on his side. I know it doesn't make sense, but that's how it works around here.
